What can we say that has not already been said about this wonderful preacher? Rev. Cowan doesn't go anywhere without wearing a smile and extending a helping hand to everyone he meets. He was great for the children and for us older folks as well. It wasn't hard for him at all to join right in the daily activities of aiding in Bible school classes, keeping score in some sports, and rounding up the children for dinner. Each night, Rev. Cowan delivered us a message that hit close to home to us all...some even closer. We were privileged to witness several children get saved as well as renew their salvation. Nothing is greater than witnessing a person bow before the alter, weeping with sincerity, and praying to the Lord to save their souls. That is what youth camp is all about -- placing children in a Christian environment to strengthen them in the Lord. With that said, we would like to thank Rev. Cowan for sacrificing his time to attend the Nolynn Association Youth Camp. We thank him for the servant of God that he is and for delivering the gospel each night that it was required of him. |

Rev. Clifton Cowan challenging Rev. James Hale to a game of badminton. I think this has something to do with who gets in the dinner line first. |
