Each morning (Monday thru Friday), all us have to endure the "call of the wild". This call is produced from the bull horn that Sister Cozetta Sprowles (aka Mamma Etta) carries around with her practically every minute throughout the day. She starts making her rounds around 7:30am waking campers up, and we all report out at the flag pole for the traditional flag raising ceremony.

Brother Michael Jordan gets at least two campers each morning to assist him in raising the American flag, the Christian flag, and one of our newer flags created by Sister Charlotte Jordan - the Separate Baptist flag.

Once the flags are raised, the campers say their pledges to the American flag, the Christian flag, and to the Bible. This is followed with a devotional reading usually done by one of the campers who generally volunteers.

After prayer over the breakfast, you better watch out! The children will run you over to be first in the breakfast line.
