2002 Nolynn Separate Baptist
Youth Camp Evangelist

Reverand Jim Tharpe
Rev. Jim Tharpe of the Central Indiana Association

Rev. Jim Tharpe was a trooper the whole week. When anyone asked him to help out whether it be kitchen work, helping with the sports, helping with a class, etc., he was more than willing...no questions asked. He was always willing to lend a helping hand where ever it was needed.

Rev. Tharpe delivered nightly messages that were well received among the young and old alike. Several youth came forward to be saved and to rededicate their lives, and Rev. Tharpe was there to pray with them.

Probably the biggest complaint that he had about our youth camp was that there were not enough people that knew and could play horse shoes worth a lick. It was all in good humor.

Breakfast time Rev. Tharpe having breakfast with the guys.
And they're off! Rev. Tharpe and Rev. Underwood rushing to flag raising. Anyone suspicious why they were already in the kitchen before the rest of us? Jennifer is starting to put it all together.
Story time Rev. Tharpe sharing his foreign mission stories.
