2003 Nolynn Separate Baptist
Youth Camp Evangelist

Reverand Jerry Ridge
Rev. Jerry Ridge of the South Kentucky Association

What can one say about this man other than he's an exceptional preacher in our movement. In a beat up old Ford Ranger, he brought four young kids (other than himself) to attend our youth camp. Rev. Jerry Ridge was great with the kids throughout the week, and he pitched in a helping hand where ever it was needed.

He was always available on a moment's notice it seemed like. Our boys invited him to our dorm several nights, and he came each time to share in our devotions and to expand more on the night's service. He really gave the boys sound advice that they were able to take home with them.

Every morning you could find him at the breakfast table laughing and talking with kitchen workers. He shared his African stories with us, and got us all excited about his trip coming up where he's going to return to the Ivory Coast and help in the mission work again.

He will always be remembered at this camp as one that gave and keeps on giving of himself to help others in the Lord's ministry. Rev. Jerry Ridge, our prayers are with you and don't be a stranger to our little youth camp here in Buffalo, KY.

Breakfast time Rev. Ridge sharing some of his stories with the fellows.
Doh! Rev. Ridge liked playing ping-pong, but this time, it appears that he put the ball in the net while playing against Robbie.
