Time to go home |

This has never been mentioned as a tradition, but it really is. On the last day after all of the work detail is finished and the trophies have been handed out, we gather around the steps that lead down to the lower parking lot. Here, we take one of our final pictures to capture the smiles and tired faces that reflect the happiness of finishing our chores, but the sadness of leaving camp and our friends.
This was a broken tradition for this year. We generally have a "Coke wagon", but this year it was a "Coke truck".
Back by popular demand, the serenade! The boys are making a lame attempt of singing a song to the girls.
Rev. Ridge was so amazed, he had to call his wife to let her hear this "song".
The girls were really tickled at the boys. I do have to admit that the ladies did better.
Both youth classes end the week by singing Friends. |
