This is a new section that I'm starting that lists some bullet point memories of the things that I noticed that happened this year during youth camp. Sis. Charlotte Jordan ("Char Char") receives a plaque for bringing the most children to youth camp over the past 25 years. Ashley D. returning to camp as a first-time camper and laying down some volleyball smack against Team 5. Tyler D. and Nathan W. come back as first-time junior counselors and team leaders. Sis. Cozy allows graduated campers and her current class sign the "Praise the Lord for Youth Camp" sheet. First year that Sis. Ruth Druen didn't come for at least one day. Sis. Lil Berry passed away earlier this year. Circuit breakers kept shutting off due to a larger amount of campers this year. Heavy storms on Thursday night. No Coca-Cola in Coke wagon. Bro. Albert Peace and Bro. Arnold Stidham were not able to spend the week with us this year. Sis. Rebecca Boyle prepared some games for the children during the bon fire. Alot of softball games after cleanup time. |
