2006 Nolynn Separate Baptist
Mr./Miss Youth Camp

This is an honor that is presented to one girl and one guy that best represents the Nolynn Youth Camp. It is based on how they present themselves as a Christian and how they interact with fellow campers. They demonstrate characteristics such as love, kindness, thoughtfulness, sharing, and helping others.

This year, the campers voted for Jennifer Whitman and Michael Blaydes. They received Bibles from the Nolynn Youth Camp with their names engraved on them. More importantly, since the campers vote for Mr. and Miss Youth Camp, they get to realize how their light shines to others.

This is Jennifer's last year as a camper, but she says that she's going to continue to come back as a worker each year. Her goal is to someday reach the status of "biscuit lady" even though she doesn't know a thing about cooking. She is a very nice lady with a smile that can brighten up anyone's day.

Michael is one of our Bible trivia gurus. You have a question...he has the answer. Michael is always willing to talk about the Lord, and I personally have witnessed him working and helping others with their problems by applying background scriptures to aid them in their search for answers and clarity.
